The Junior League of High Point, NC (and our home town) partnered with Traditional Home magazine to create a stunning renovation of an impressive 1912 Tudor style home with a rich family history. Marsh Furniture was pleased to support the effort by providing the cabinetry for the large kitchen makeover.
The revival of the Titanic-Era Tudor home boasts a striking, geometric kitchen aimed at modern pragmatism. Interior designer, Lisa Mende, described the kitchen as one “for real cooks”, and planned the design around contemporary amenities. Surrounding the appliances are Marsh Kitchen’s Savannah cabinets, painted a handsome Onyx black and adorned with brushed-brass hardware. The origins of the Terry House contributed significantly to the design of this kitchen, taking inspiration from the Art Deco movement which swung into popularity at the time of the home’s erection. You’ll see the monochromatic theme and Deco spirit of this kitchen in the remodel photos below.
